Frequently asked questions

Where is my data stored?
All content lives in your browser using LocalStorage. Clear your drafts from the Settings tab or browser history.
Can I collaborate with others?
Share exported files or use the Import/Export data buttons. Real-time collaboration is on the roadmap.
How do I enable dark mode?
Toggle the sun/moon icon in the builder header. Your preference is saved per device.
Why isn’t the AI assistant working?
Ensure you’ve added a valid Gemini API key in Settings. We do not provide one by default.

Troubleshooting

  • Refresh the page to reset the UI if buttons stop responding.
  • Disable browser extensions that inject scripts into every page.
  • Use the “Reset layout” option if elements overlap after resizing.
  • Export via PDF first; DOCX requires more memory in certain browsers.
